While it feels exhilarating to have an increasing Following on any social media platform, never make that your main priority as a young writer

Your focus should be gaining Mastery of your writing skills! Building silently, exploring opportunities and sharing snippets of your growth process.

Whether or not you ask for it, your audience will notice you, your message will resonate with them and they will follow — without cajoling them.

While the internet is quite essential, it is just as easy to get distracted and lost. It can either Break you— if you allow it, or Build you — if wielded accordingly.

However, It is a great space to build connections, communities and a loyal audience.

But most importantly, commit yourself to deep learning. Develop a curious mind and an eye for details. These are qualities that sets you apart from the lot.

Become too good, you can’t be ignored.

Do not be in a rush to show off and project yourself as an expert. You can’t hide your inadequacies for long, your cover will definitely blow.

Focus on mastering your writing skills, providing value and everything else that you’ve dreamed of will fall in place.
